On this day, the whole wide world watches my city for the Greatest Spectacle in Racing on the World's Greatest Race Course for the World's Largest One Day Sporting Event. Can you tell I am proud to be a Hoosier?? I love the Indianapolis 500. It is so tradition filled, such an amazing place. It is so hard to explain to you how amazing this place really is...you really need to experience it for yourself.
And, there is no better time...we are celebrating 100 years. So, if you want to come and experience all that is Indy next year, let me know. I have a big house and we will find a place for you to sleep!

I don't know anything about racing, etc. but I turned the race on in the last 2 laps and found myself all emotional when this guy won!!
They kept mentioning the trouble he had last month. I'm too lazy to google it.....what happened?
I didn't see the race but I heard it was awesome from some friends. I love it when the same ones DON'T win over and over, you know? Spread the wealth and let everyone have a dream come true once in awhile.
Okay, I peeked at your blog from Keri's blog. I have just recently become a Hoosier, and this post has me all excited! I have not yet attended the 500 because I was told that it is no place for kids, it is an all day event, and I don't know anyone that I would ask to watch them that long. If you don't mind, I think I will keep up with your blog, so that I can find out more exciting things about being a Hoosier! You can visit mine too, if you would like!
