The White Sox win the World Series in 4 games. Good, now can we get on with the football season? Since the strike, I haven't watched a lot of baseball by paid athletes. I love Michael's little league, but I don't care too much for anything else. Ditto on hockey. Poor Sue, she is in Chicago this week. Look out girl! Chitown + beer = rowdy!

The New Ashlee Simpson album tops Billboard 200. We have sunk to a new low in terms of musical taste. Kenny's album comes out in a couple of weeks and let's hope it debuts at number one!
The City of Rome has banned goldfish bowls because they are inhumane. Say what? What the hell are you supposed to do with a goldfish besides watch it swim 'round and 'round? Do you prospose we put them all in creeks and rivers and let them get eaten or die of pollution? Italy, go back to eating your Barilla pasta and stop making stupid laws.
Gang tattoos hinder job prospects. Well no shit. How much money did we spend on a study to tell us this? Probably $1.2 billion or some other obscene amount. And kids, while the study didn't say this, earrings in strange places aren't a big help either. If you have to have this stuff--make sure you can cover it with clothing.
Can you tell I am feeling a little fiesty today? It isn't a full moon so I am not sure what is going on. Oh well. I feel better.

I traded the Astros win for Karen's health...it wasn't like it was the rangers but oh I DO LOVE HOCKEY.
I'm glad Miers withdrew but I do hope we get another woman nominated.
